Investigating the relationship between the job burnout and the mental health of employees of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army

Abstract
Investigating the relationship between the job burnout and the mental health of employees of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army
It has been pointed out in several studies that military employees are more likely to be exposed to the job burnout due to sensitivity and job strains. In this research, the job burnout and its relationship with the mental health were investigated among the employees of a military center of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army. 104 persons of the statistical population were randomly selected as samples. The research method was a survey and its tools included two tests and a checklist of demographic characteristics. The job burnout and the general health tests were utilized as research tests. In order to analyze the obtained data, the T-test and the variance analysis were implemented, and the correlation coefficient was used to demonstrate the variables relations. Results illustrated that there was a significant relationship between the job burnout and the mental health of the human force of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army. Results, also revealed that there were no remarkable relationship between the job burnout and the variables of age, sex, marriage, field of study, different work sectors and years of service.
